This term we have been learning about China, we have continued building on the inquiry skills we have learnt in term 2. We brainstormed open questions as a class and then delegated these out to pairs. The part of China Maria and I were finding out more about was China's food. We found our information on the Internet and from books. We used a data chart to make sure we triangulated all our information so we knew it was true. We then used movie maker to present our inquiry. Something I enjoyed was filming because it was really funny if you made a blooper. An interesting fact I found out was that you have to make lots of food 3 days before Chinese new year because if you used a knife it was real bad luck. My next learning step in inquiry is to always remembering to save my work.

St PeTErS PacficA GrOuP

During Week 1, we had a variety of learning experiences to tune us into ideas about our new big question for this term -how are cultures and traditions expressed throughdance? We had a performance for Boys High Pacifica group, a performance from St Peters Pacifica group and a drumming workshop. I enjoyed St peters dancing the mostbecause I got to dance in front of my freinds. Something new I learnt was that many cultures are expressed through dance.

TUATARA VOICETHREAD
This voicethread explains what I have learnt during my inquiry on the tuatara. Something I think I did really well during this inquiry process was finding the information because the tuatara was really hard. Something I could improve on is making my presention more colourful and puting backgronds on my titles because it was quite dull and the titles didn't stand out.
